Emotional, Frighteningly Honest and most of all Revealing.....
What a page turner finished it in what seems like minutes. This story needed to be told for confirmation as well as vindication. Centinio, as he is known as in the islands seems to be a sweetheart who was deceived and abused by a man in power. He takes you on a journey and reveals how one can be be dragged through abuse, mental control and manipulation all while awaiting his hearts desire which was " A promise of love." My heart ached for Centino at times while I was taken through his journey.
I am so glad his convictions lead him out of this horrible love affair. Centino is anything but weak. I listened to him being interviewed on Blog Talk Radio on Church Folk Revolution entitled "Church Unsung" ...and I know for a fact he could have gotten ugly and revealed plenty more on that scoundrel and other down low men of the cloth...but he decided to take a higher road. Lucky for them. I will be there on opening night to see either the made for television movie or the box office hit.
**To the brethren at New Birth... sit down with a bottle of Iced Pellegrino, with a slice of lime and take a deep breath and then read this book...and then once the initial shock wears off and the Spirit reveals truth to you about who you are sitting under.... wake up and leave that place at once but do not go to Creflo and Taffy's place...Just rest in Jesus arms for a while allow healing to take place. You do not have to be in a building to do that and wait for further instructions. Do not despair we were all deceived by him some more than others as in Centino's case.

I Could Not Put It Down! You can not just make this stuff up! Centino Kemp's accounts of his relationship with the Bishop, from age 16 to 22 years old, as "First Lady", is gut wrenching. Thank God all of the Bishop's victims were not paid "hush money". Now, I can't wait to see this movie, and read the real First Lady, Vanessa Long's tell all book. Or was she paid "hush money", too?!

I followed this story when it initially came out. It saddened my heart to see such a young man being put in such a negative spotlight and more supporters SUPPORTED the ACCUSER than the VICTIM. This book brings out EVERYTHING you want to know about the scandal. From the initial meeting to the final goodbye.THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ FOR MATURE AUDIENCES! ENJOY!!!!
After reading this book, I just have one question to ask....WHY IS HE STILL PREACHING???
