A must-read for yoga teachers!

This book distills the experience and knowledge of two established studio owners, which was a godsend to this yoga teacher who is in the process of opening a studio! The writing is clear and concise, and the authors provide their thoughts and recommendations on everything from financial projections, to marketing, to creating good relationships with teachers. I bought the book about six weeks ago, and have been using it to develop my business plan, generate financial projections, and structure conversations with my business consultant. This book is the only resource I've found that thoroughly explains the business side of yoga. In fact, I would recommend this book to ALL yoga teachers, even those who aren't ready to open their own studios.

Good Tips But Should Include More Caveats Re Checking State Laws Where Your Studio Is Located

For example, there is a large section suggesting that studio owners require their teachers to sign a non-compete clause. Where I live in California, such clauses are illegal and unenforceable for both employees and independent contractors.
